What we explore
Five ways back to yourself
What is included
Support that does not wait for Sunday
A weekly check-in
A guided Marco Polo prompt between sessions, so the practice continues through the week.
A guided workbook
Yours to keep, with space for the honest version of your reflections all six weeks.
A before and after assessment
Your growth measured across the five Bs, from the first Sunday to the last.
An individualized self-care plan
A clear rhythm to carry you into the season after the group ends.
And the support of a small, closed circle, from the first Sunday to the last.
Who this is for
For the one everyone counts on
This circle is for you if you are the person others rely on, and you are quietly running on empty. If you have read the books and saved the posts, yet practicing alone has not held. You will find a space that is gentle and structured, where sharing is always optional and honesty matters more than performance. It is a closed group of the same faces every Sunday, small enough that your presence is felt and your absence is noticed.
About your facilitator
Dr. Myra Wilkinson, LMFT-S
Dr. Myra Wilkinson is a Self-Care Consultant, educator, and researcher, and the creator of the 5 Bs framework. The framework is rooted in doctoral research, clinical practice, honest conversations with individuals, and her own self-care journey. She guides this circle as an educator and consultant, holding a space where you can learn to care for yourself with steadiness and grace.
The timing is intentional
Five of our six Sundays fall inside September, Self-Care Awareness Month. There is no better season to move from reading about self-care to practicing it in good company.
Questions
Before you reserve your seat
Is this therapy?
No. The 5 Bs Self-Care Group is an educational and supportive experience, not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for mental health care. You are encouraged to maintain or seek professional support alongside the group. If something tender surfaces during our weeks together, Dr. Wilkinson will gladly help you find the right resources.
What happens between Sundays?
Each week you receive a short Marco Polo prompt to record a two to three minute check-in by Wednesday, and to watch and encourage one or two others in the circle. The connection continues through the week rather than pausing until the next session.
What if I miss a Sunday?
Life happens, and your seat is held for the full six weeks. Because this is a closed circle rather than a drop-in class, we ask for your commitment to attend when you can. Your workbook and the weekly prompts will help you stay connected to the material even if you miss a gathering.
Is my payment refundable?
Payment is non-refundable. The group is a closed circle of 6 to 10 people, and your commitment is part of what makes the space work for everyone. Registration closes once the group begins.
